From Family Struggles to Hubmee: A Tale of Innovation and Personalization
Hubmee's founders, Vitaliy and Svitlana, developed the program to assist them in managing their personal and professional affairs. In 2018, juggling the responsibilities of raising three children and expecting a fourth, the couple concurrently pursued their educational goals. While Vitaliy studied at the Psychological School of Chicago, Svitlana completed her studies at the UIC Law School, in preparation for the bar exam. To support their growing family, Vitaliy worked full time at a high tech company.
"One day, I was taking our son to the doctor", Vitaliy recalls. "I was constantly receiving phone calls from work and felt overwhelmed. At the doctor's office, I had to fill out a form with information about my son and got stuck on it. I called my wife for help with almost every question, because she typically took our kids for doctor's visits. I managed to get all the necessary info but it was a very stressful experience," he chuckles.
In the evenings, Vitaliy's family would often try to remember whose turn it was to do the dishes, with the parents making sure that the household duties were distributed fairly. It was during one of these situations that their youngest son, 11-year old Max, suggested they create a management system to help run the affairs of their large family
Vitaliy and Svitlana listened and in 2019, the couple founded Hubmee, a new digital management company, designed to help people organize and manage their affairs. The inspiration for the app's functionality comes from Vitaliy and Svitlana's own family life. Hubmee's digital management system helps to organize and manage your life with its unique features, making sure none of the important tasks on your to-do list slip through the cracks.
"Like many others, our family juggles various responsibilities, including children, pets, extended family, a broad network of friends, managing real estate, investments, insurance, and making various payments. Our family functions as an ecosystem that demands meticulous management. This is why Hubmee is not a contrived invention but a platform that provides tangible solutions to life's daily tasks'', explains Svitlana. "Today, I cannot imagine how we could manage our lives without Hubmee". The couple's older children use Hubmee for school related tasks, keeping track of schedules, managing homework with checklists, and accessing the necessary documents with ease. The large family also uses Hubmee for daily communication.
While managing their growing family, pursuing educational goals, and managing career responsibilities, Vitaliy and Svitlana became inspired to design Hubmee. From the initial idea, suggested by their youngest son Max, to a fully fledged digital management system, Hubmee became a practical solution to bring order to the chaos of everyday life. As Vitaliy and Svitalana's family continues to grow and evolve, so will Hubmee, becoming the indispensable personalized solution for families and individuals alike.
